Danielle Rowe

I am 23, a central midfield player for Portsmouth who works in Recruitment full time along side playing football. I like to try and get on the ball as much as possible, in the number 4 role I try to dictate play where I can, keep things ticking over, switching play in possession but break up play and help the back line as much as possible out of possession. Communication and leadership as well is fairly natural to be in keeping everyone motivated.

Billy Crook

Hi, my names Billy, I am currently at Dartford FC in the conference south and work as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. Football is important to me as from a young age I was forever with a ball at my feet, I’ve achieved some good things in the game and met some great people. I looked up mostly to foreign cm’s. Iniesta, Pirlo, Kroos, Verratti and Zidane. I believe these guys played the right way and are all pass masters….

Hi, my name is Rebecca Knight and I play for Loughborough Foxes. I have been at the club for 4 years now and I am playing the best football of my career so far. I started playing at the age of 12 for Stoke City Academy and was inspired by my dad and granddad from a young age. Football is a huge part of my life, not only playing but coaching and teaching. I have around 10 years’ experience coaching now and just started my first year as a newly qualified teacher….

Zack Kotwica

Zack Kotwica I’m 24 born in Gloucester and playing for them. I started my career and Cheltenham Town, earning a pro contract with them when I was 17. I got scouted by Cheltenham was I was 7 years of ages playing for Brockworth Albion and a summer tournament my friends dad was the manager…

Matt Jones

I’m Matt Jones and I play for Hungerford Town FC. Football is a massive part of my life, when it’s good I’m a different person. It’s one of the things I have that’s a bit of a release and gives me a chance to go have some fun with mates. It’s always been a major part of my life from the start and I don’t think that will ever change. I’m a trainee PE teacher now, so I balance it with that. t’s tricky at times but it’s two things I love doing…

Meg Bowyer

Hi, my names Meg Bowyer and I am Captain of Stoke City FC (Women). I think the fact that the women’s game has grown massively over the last few years is important for all involved, there are more teams registering every year, more females participating in the sport which therefore increases the standard every season, the women’s game is only going to continue rising. I prep the same every week, it’s nothing major but I always put my right side of everything on first..
