Stockport County Football Club is a semi-professional football club in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. The club participates in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. The club was founded in 1883 as Heaton Norris Rovers, the team adopted their name in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport.
The club plays at Edgeley Park Stadium. The stadium opened in 1901 for rugby league club Stockport, by 1902, the rugby club was defunct and Stockport County Football Club moved in. It currently has an all-seated capacity of 10,900.
