My name’s Marvin Ekpiteta and I currently play for Blackpool FC. I’ve been playing local football in north London from around 8 years old until 16 when I signed for Oxford United. I spent 3 years with Oxford United’s youth team and after I was released I dropped down and played part time. I signed for Bristol City at the age of 6 and was there for 7 years until the age of 14 where I was released for being too small and not physical enough. I enjoyed playing local football for 2 years until I was 16 when I signed as a scholar at Newport County. I had a great 5 years at Newport before eventually moving up to Scotland and signing with Falkirk…
I love football and have been playing since the age of 4 years old. I only really went to college and university just to keep playing at a high level and ended up with a BSc & MSc as well as representing England & Great Britain. I also love to sing, makes sense coming from a family of singers. I was a proper tomboy as a kid and loved anything active, played every and any sport but I was really good at football, and who doesn’t like footy?
Hello! My name is Harrison Holland I am a left foot/ right striker. I am fast strong and powerful. I started my men’s football at 16 at Boston Town scoring over 10 goals for them in a 2 year spell with 25 appearances. I am quite fast. I’m strong. Born in Teeside, made my League 2 debut at 17 for Hartlepool then went on to play over 100 games before signing for Crewe where I played a full season then went on loan to Wrexham for half of season and then signed for Shrewsbury where I’ve been the last year and this year coming. The thing I noticed more was that winning was so important and it meant a lot more to people with family’s and the mentality from a kid to a professional was a massive difference…
I’ve never really known much else other than football & I’ve loved every minute of it. It’s a hard world to be in and to still be playing now & earning a living from the game is a good feeling. Born & raised in Portsmouth started my career there which is the club I also support so I really enjoyed the early parts of my career there. I’d describe myself as a ball playing centre half that was loved a challenge & defending as a whole!
