Charlton Athletic Women’s Football Club is an English football club based in Charlton, south-east London. The club for women is founded in 1991 as Bromley Borough, later under the name Croydon Women’s FC, between 2000–2007 as Charlton Athletic and participates in the FA Women’s Championship, the second tier of the women English football. The club was one of the most successful women’s teams in England.
