Interview Nik Tzanev

My name is Nikola Tzanev and I currently playing for AFC Wimbledon. I moved from NZ because of my dad’s work. I was playing for Hampton and Richmond Sunday league team when they approached me and invited me for a trial. It was a very good loan spell where I learnt a lot. Being that young and playing men’s football is the best thing for young GKs to be doing. Great experience and was very good for my development. I was a little bit surprised because there were some other very good players in that team.

Interview haji Mnoga

I’m Haji Mnoga, I was born in Portsmouth and grew up in Portsmouth in an area called Somerstown. I’ve been playing football since I was about 3 that’s when I first kicked a ball and loved it always. I got football from my dad and used to play with him and my older brothers. I’ve played for Portsmouth since the development centre around 6/7 so I’ve ultimately been at Portsmouth FC for 11/12 years. I’ve just progressed through the ranks and recently got a lot more recognition in the first team. I would say I’m quite old fashioned because I love a big tackle.

Interview Ed Williams

I’m Ed Williams and currently playing for Doncaster Rovers FC. I started playing football with the people on my street from a young age, having brothers who also enjoyed playing, we used to go out and play on the field by our house. Those were my earliest memories of playing and starting to fall in love with the game. I would always be playing in the playground at school and got enjoyment from running past everyone and scoring 😂
I started off playing midfield from an early age and sometimes played out on the wing as I often do now..

Interview Cameron Burgess

Hi Guys Cameron here. I have a few little things I like to do before the game mostly on the prehab side of things I’ve picked up over the years, different stretches etc. And I like to wear the same shoes If we won the week before, don’t know why! Apart from that it’s just the usual preparation. I was living in Australia at the time and through various avenues got the chance to come across to a few teams and train to see if I could get a contract. Loved it straight away at Fulham, just everything about the place and the people involved!

Interview Laurie Walker

I’m Laurie Walker 30 year old goalkeeper currently playing for Mk dons in in League 1. I wouldn’t say I have any specific strength of weakness, I work hard daily in training to try and improve my all round game to make sure I’m up to scratch and ready to play. Joining Mk as a kid is every kids dream come true, you take it for granted as a kid which is one thing I regret I wish I’d of spent more time on the training pitch at the time. But it was very different as I worked under two different managers who both had very different styles of play which was tough to adapt to quickly as a youth team player.

Interview Marvin Ekpiteta

My name’s Marvin Ekpiteta and I currently play for Blackpool FC. I’ve been playing local football in north London from around 8 years old until 16 when I signed for Oxford United. I spent 3 years with Oxford United’s youth team and after I was released I dropped down and played part time. I played part time for 3.5 years until I was picked up by Leyton Orient and was back playing full time football….
