A long yellow flag regime follows, during which the obligatory pit stop “waltz” begins. Starting from his garage, Bortolotti in the Lamborghini number 63 collides with a Mercedes in the pit lane (he will not suffer a penalty for unsafe restart, but the race direction asks the Italian driver to return the position).
