For the second year in a row, Krys, partner of the white jersey which rewards the best rider under 26 on the Tour de France, will organize “l’Etape en blanc”. An unprecedented action to support young people carried out in partnership with the Afev and scheduled this year for July 5, the day of the baccalaureate results and the 4th stage of the Tour, the first in France.
A real white tide will sweep over the Tour de France again, on July 5th during the 4th stage between Dunkirk and Calais and the first stage in France of this 2022 edition. Krys, partner of the white jersey which rewards the best rider under 26 on the Tour de France, will indeed relaunch, and this for the second year in a row (the first edition took place in 2021), “l’Etape en White “. Like last season (July 6 at the time), all spectators gathered by the roadside will be invited as part of this unprecedented action to support young people organized in partnership with Afev (which works to academic success) from Hauts de France (1,400 volunteer students, 1,345 children and young people supported) to wear a white t-shirt knowing that each white t-shirt worn will be worth two hours of support for children with learning difficulties. All on July 5, the day of the publication of the results of the baccalaureate. In 2021, Krys, who sees in this white jersey of the best young rider on the Tour a message of encouragement to young French people to believe in themselves and to be daring to reveal their potential and see their future with optimism, had financed more than thirty thousand hours of tutoring last year thanks to the “white stage” and the tremendous support of the public. This year, Krys wants to set the bar even higher. It is in this sense that Krys will once again distribute his “L’Etape en blanc” t-shirts all along the route and will encourage everyone in the public to wear them. It is also with the aim of financing even more than thirty thousand hours of tutoring – and reminding all young people that academic success is not only decided on the day of the baccalaureate results – that specific events will be scheduled at three different locations along the route of this 4th stage.

Under the thumb of the famous Youtuber Hugo Décrypte and against the background of the hashtag #PorterLaJeunesse, a gathering of a hundred people starting on the beach of Malo-les-Bains will first form the giant message “Porter la jeunesse”. At KM2, in Leffrinckoucke (59), 200 young people from Afev will form the same giant message “Porter La Jeunesse”. Same thing at KM160, in Bazinghen (62), where again, 200 young people from Afev will invite via a huge banner to “Porter La Jeunesse”. At KM97, in Nielles-lès-Bléquin (62), a giant white jersey will be placed in front of the village church. Demonstrations which the director of the Afev Christophe Paris is delighted with before the hour. “This second edition makes it possible to install this meeting as a major step in academic success for all children and for the voluntary commitment of thousands of students, in short, a great loop of educational solidarity! Our young people are all eager to actively participate in this day, which promises to be festive and supportive! Thanks to the donations collected on this occasion, we hope to be able to exceed 2,000 children helped from September 2022 in the Hauts-de-France region and exceed 20,000 children throughout France! » An enthusiasm shared by the director of the Krys Optique et Audition brand Bruno Censier, who was also delighted to see this unprecedented action to support young people renewed. “Supporting the success of young people is a value that we take very seriously at Krys. We have the ambition to support young people so that they can look to their future with optimism. We want to mobilize as many people as possible and contribute, alongside the Afev, to everyone’s academic success. A single message: on July 5, let’s wear the “L’Étape en Blanc” T-shirt! Bring on the youth! »
