Introduce yourself…

Hi I’m Lewis Knight 26 years old.

Who are the most important people within football environment?

The most important people in a football environment are the positive characters either being players or physios or people who work in the club.

How do you prepare for an (important) competition? (music, rituals, etc.)

I don’t have a specific thing I do but I need music in a dressing room to get the mood going.

You made 43 appearances for Concord Rangers FC during the 2017/2018 season before signing for local rival, East Thurrock United. Why did you leave Concord Rangers FC ?

I left concord rangers as a new manager came in and wanted to bring his own players in so the whole team left very good club though with good people.

You played in one season for St Albans City FC and Maidstone United FC. Did you noticed a lot of difference between those clubs ?

Yes obviously with Maidstone being full time and St Albans being part time it’s a big difference in the training and structure.

The rest of the season you loaned by Maidstone United FC at St Albans City FC. Was it weird to be back?

Well I have just completed a 1 month loan at St Albans and it felt great going back and playing as I haven’t had a lot of game time at Maidstone but it still felt the same as last year still the same good people and manager.

What is your best moment in your football career?

Best moment in my career was probably my first season in the conference south with concord it was all new to me and the manager Adam Flanagan took a punt on me so I will always be grateful for that, but because I had stepped up 2 leagues it was a big challenge for myself which I feel I succeeded in.

What are your personal goals this season?

Personal goals this year is to play as many games in the conf south as I can and score as many goals while keeping good performances.

What is your ambition in your football career?

My ambition has always been to play as high a level as I can and this being my first year as a full time football I want to continue to stay full time.
