Football clubs from 2000.

You would expect that there are enough football clubs in England. But not everyone is agree with that. That’s why you see even the last years, still new football clubs. The new clubs are founded with the knowledge of today.

As a result, they grow quickly and you see them more and more in the current competitions. Much to the chagrin of old traditional football clubs. Still, there are enough football lovers who like it.

Find below the seven founded football clubs after 2000, from the National League and the National League North and South.


1. Hereford FC – Founded in 2014

The club participates in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football. Hereford FC plays its matches at Edgar Street. The stadium was opened in 1924 and it has a capacity of 4.913.


2. Chester FC – Founded in 2010

The club participates in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football. Chester FC plays its matches at the Deva Stadium, also known as the Swansway Chester Stadium for sponsorship purposes. The stadium was opened on 24 August 1992 and it has a capacity of 5,376 (4,170 Seated).

3. King’s Lynn Town FC – Founded in 2010

King’s Lynn Town FC is founded in 2010. The club participates in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football. King’s Lynn Town FC plays its matches at the Walks Stadium. The stadium was built in 1896 and it has a capacity of 3,000.


4. FC Halifax Town – Founded in 2008

Halifax Town FC is founded in 2008. The club participates in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. F.C. Halifax Town plays its matches at the Mill Farm stadium. The stadium was opened on 3 August 2016 and has a capacity of 6,000.

5. Solihull Moors FC – Founded in 2007

Solihull Moors FC is founded in 2007. The club participates in the National League, the fifth tier of English football. Solihull Moors FC plays its matches at the Automated Technology Group Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 5,500 seats.

6. Spennymoor Town FC – Founded in 2005

Spennymoor Town FC is founded in 2005. The club participates in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football. Spennymoor Town FC plays its matches at the Brewery Field. The stadium was opened in 1904 and it has a capacity of 2,670.


7. AFC Telford United – Founded in 2004

AFC Telford United is founded in 2004. The club participates in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football. AFC Telford United plays its matches at New Bucks Head. The stadium was opened in 2003 and it has a capacity of 6,380 (2,200 seated).
